Sara Lynn Evans was born February 5, 1971. She was raised on a farm in New Franklin Missouri as the most senior of the seven children. Sara has always been a fan of music and began singing with her parents at age five. When she was sixteen She worked for two years at the nightclub in Columbia Missouri. In 1991 she relocated in Nashville Tennessee, with the goal of becoming a professional in country music. Songwriter Harlan Howard heard Sara as she sang a song demo for one of his tracks Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided she should sing his music. The contract was signed with RCA. Evans released Three Chords and the Truth, her debut album in 1997. It was praised by critics for it's return to country and included it in numerous top 10 lists. The album, however, did not make it to the Top 40 of Radio station. Lorraine Bracco..................... After working on feature films for some time then she was able to move on to television shows and enjoyed great success.
