Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age through her imaginative and creative imagination. Before she was able to write or read, she began to compose her own music. After getting her first guitar at age of 8, she began to perform at radio stations in Knoxville, Tennessee. The first album she recorded was within the same calendar year with Gold Band Records, a small label that was an independent. Although she was studying, she already made a name of herself within the local arena. Her goal was to be able to make music on a greater scale. The day she graduated from high school, in 1964. Dumb Blonde (1967) and Something Fishy (1968) were her two first charting albums for Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for female performers to perform on his show syndicated by him from the beginning. Parton was hired in 1966, she joined RCA Records in 1968, and then the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. She quit Wagoner's act in 1974 when her solo singles like Joshua Coat of Many Colors & Jolene oversold her collaborations. The song by Parton, I Will Never Have Love for You (for Wagoner), was able to reach the top of the. #1 spot following their separated. The first time it reached No. 1 was 1974.
